- Sanctuary for Yoga

After years of competitive swimming, running, and playing golf, not to mention the day-to-day rigors
of being a professional musician, Liz finally succumbed to the love of a daily yoga practice and soon
discovered the many benefits to be had, physically, mentally, and emotionally. With her background in
classical music, Liz found Ashtanga Yoga a perfect fit and completed her teacher training in this style.
However, she soon discovered the joys and freedom of expression to be had in Vinyasa Flow.
In her classes, Liz integrates the time tested sequencing and attention to detail on an Ashtanga class
with the unexpected pleasures of Vinyasa Flow and encourages all level of students to experience the
healing and transformative power of yoga.
Liz credits the loving nature and deep enthusiasm of teachers Kathi Perry, Daphne and Tom Larkin, and
Simon Park. She is deeply honored to Katherine Roberts, creator of Yoga for Golfers, in which Liz holds
a certification, for encouraging her to begin this new journey and to explore it ever further.
A 15-year member of The Nashville Symphony, Liz lives in Brentwood with her violist husband, Jim and
their Vizsla dog, Bodi.
